We are a small team of two, dedicated to both photography and videography, based in central Scotland.
Being such a small team gives us a huge advantage. It allows us to spend less time worrying about the business side of things, and more time to get to know you and understand your needs. We believe that the experience is even more important than the outcome. You are our number one priority.
Chasing light with lenses since 2007
A childhood hobby that enveloped our lifestyle became a way for us to make other peoples memories last forever. We are strong believers that pictures are some of the most vivid forms of reliving years gone by.
Our Story
After a decade of chasing light with a camera, Compass was brought to life in 2017. It started as something so much different than it is today. After years of dedication to automotive work, it was time to branch off. It was time to find direction. Thus, the name Compass was born.
A long history within automotive culture allowed us to appreciate all different kinds of beauty, in all kinds of forms and functions – something that can be adapted in to all aspects of what we do.
All of our memories are precious, regardless of how little some of them may seem, but it’s important that you’re able to take the time to enjoy what’s going on around you. That’s where we come in, we capture what you experience, and make it last forever.
Our Mission
Something we’re all a little too guilty of, is having the inability to just put the phone down and enjoy what’s happening before us. It’s something even we’re pretty guilty of, too.
Capturing memories are important to us all, but we struggle to call them memories when we barely live them through our eyes, instead we live them through a phone screen. Photos and videos are our number one ways of reliving the things that bring happiness to us, so let us make sure you never stop smiling.
